Course Listings:Blue Coat Certified PacketShaper Administrator (BCPSA)The Blue Coat Certified PacketShaper Administrator (BCPSA) course is intended for IT professionals who wish to develop the basic knowledge and skills to manage an installed Blue Coat PacketShaper on a daily basis. This 2-day course is intended for users who want to apply new PacketShaper features that deliver integrated visibility, control and compression capabilities in a single appliance. Blue Coat Certified PacketShaper Professional (BCPSP)The Blue Coat Certified PacketShaper Professional (BCPSP) Course is a 3-day advanced technical training course intended for IT professionals who wish to develop and master the skills to properly install, operate and configure PacketShaper. This course covers how to use advanced reporting and analysis features, allowing administrators to properly design, configure, and troubleshoot different types of traffic trees while using PacketShaper to identify and fix network problems. Prerequisite: BCPSA Blue Coat Certified ProxySG Administrator (BCCPA)The Blue Coat Certified ProxySG Administrator (BCCPA) course is intended for IT professionals who wish to master the fundamentals of the Blue Coat ProxySG. This 2-day course covers the key concepts of network security and wide-area network (WAN) optimization, the major functions of the ProxySG, how they work, and how to administer them. Blue Coat Certified ProxySG Professional (BCCPP)The Blue Coat Certified ProxySG Professional (BCCPP) course is intended for IT professionals who wish to master the advanced features of the Blue Coat ProxySG. This 3-day course covers the ProxySG architecture, Content Policy Language, policy tracing, authentication realms, forward proxy, failover, streaming media, and a number of other advanced network security capabilities of the ProxySG. Prerequisite: BCCPA Introduction to JUNOS Operating System (IJOS)This one-day course provides students with the foundational knowledge required to work with Junos OS and to configure devices running Junos OS. Key topics include user interface options with a heavy focus on the command-line interface (CLI), initial setup of devices, interface configuration basics, secondary system configuration, and the basics of operational monitoring and maintenance of devices running Junos OS. JUNOS Routing Essentials (JRE)This one-day course provides students with foundational routing knowledge and configuration examples and includes an overview of general routing concepts, routing policy and firewall filters, and class of service (CoS). JUNOS Security (JSEC)This three-day course provides students with the skills for configuration, operation, and implementation of Junos security platforms in a typical network environment. Key topics include the configuration of security zones, security policies, authentication, attack prevention, NAT, IPSec VPN, and clustering for high availability. Configuring Juniper Secure Access (CJSA)This two-day course discusses the configuration of Secure Access (SA) products in a typical network environment. Key topics include SSL access technologies, basic implementation, and configuration and management options. Through demonstrations and hands-on labs, students will gain experience in configuring, testing, and troubleshooting basic facets of the SA products. Advanced Juniper Secure Access (AJSA)This two-day course discusses the advanced configuration of Secure Access (SA) products. Key topics include PKI support, additional authentication and authorization servers, complex policies, customization, virtual systems, high availability, and Secure Meeting. Through demonstrations and hands-on labs, students will gain experience in configuring, testing, and troubleshooting advanced features of the SA products. Prerequisite: CJSA Configuring Juniper Networks Firewall/IPSec VPN Implementations (CJFV)This course is the first in the ScreenOS curriculum. It is a three-day, instructor-led course that focuses on configuration of the Juniper Networks firewall/VPN products in a variety of situations, including basic administrative access, routing, firewall policies and policy options, attack prevention features, address translation, and VPN implementations. The course combines both lecture and labs, with significant time allocated for hands-on experience. Students completing this course should be confident in their ability to configure Juniper Networks firewall/VPN products in a wide range of installations. Advanced Juniper Networks IPSec VPN Implementation (AJVI)This two-day, intermediate-level course focuses on the wide range of options available when configuring VPNs using Juniper Networks firewall/VPN products. Students attending the course will learn these various deployments through detailed lectures and hands-on lab exercises. Prerequisites: Completion CJFV course or equivalent experience with ScreenOS software. Network and Security Manager FundamentalsThis two-day course discusses the basic operations of Security Manager. Key topics include server and domain administration, device configuration, template creation and management, policy creation and management, logging, and report generation. Through demonstrations and hands-on labs, students gain experience in configuring, testing, and troubleshooting features of Security Manager. |
